This is the same test only this time I only answered "vodka" for all the questions. I am now

If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Modest Mussorgsky.

I am a Romantic period psycho who's drunk more often than not. I died of this affliction, not surprisingly. My famous works include "Night on Bald Mountain" and "Pictures at an Exhibition."

This is my personal results:

If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Pyotr Chaikovsky.

I AM the Real Chaikovsky! Considered by most Westerners to be the greatest Russian composer of all, most late 19th Century Russians think I'm actually too Westernized in my musical tendencies. Despite this criticism, as well as the flak I had to take for my preference of Y-chromosomes, my ballets "The Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" are upheld as among the greatest and most popular pieces of all time.

SO I went to Heinl yesterday..turns out the bill was about 165.00. My dad is paying me back so its not so bad. The bad news is that there is still a buzz on my g string. I have a suspicious looking crack underneath my bridge. So tues (*sigh) after orchestra...or maybe I'll wait til after the concert Friday. Anyways I have to take it back. And pay more money. But my bow is working MUCH better.

Anyways I got to go back to Cobourg

I got to meet Alexander Markovich!!!!I got an autograph!!!

I went to Heinl today after orchestra (which is where I got my violin, btw). Anyways the man there knows me pretty well and lent me a decent bow and an awesome violin ( I want to keep it! :( )

The problems are actually more serious than previous violin makers I consulted earlier had said.
I have an open seam in the corner (I think its on the right). I also have open cracks in my pegbox, though they said its not fresh because the cracks are black, though one is opening up more. Also my fingerboard needs readjusting, something to do with the nut being too small and not level with the strings. My bow is also in a serious need of rehairing and having tried two different bows today, I have realized that my bowing might have been off due to the serious accumulated crud in the frog part of my bow.

The whole job is going to cost 150-180, bow rehairing included. Not too bad by my finaincial standards, considering the problems surronding. I can possibly blame the terribly humid, dark and cold practice rooms that Im confined to for hours on end everyday. Im going to write a letter to the Dean. I mean, they COULD have decent stands for crying out loud. Im paying thousands and I cant even get a stand half the time, let alone a decent one?

For those of you who are wondering (Erik :), Im studying with Etsuko Kimura. The woman who runs the master classes is Anna Lee (her last name starts with a P and its very very long,). Shes really nice but kind of intimidating at times because she is very good :S. Most of the students there are.

I think thats it... I think....

Have to go study, Bye Everyone@!

So I have some cracks that opened up and its singing. Not in the good sense either. Extremely tired. I have a 12 hour day at Edward Johnson. I played Dvorak Sonatine for the master class, and my bowing is a little off, but generally a good performance, its no jury examination so Ive got some time yet to work things out.

Have to play on my crappy spare tomorrow for the Frank D minor. Ug, I hope this isnt going to suck too much.

Tiiiiired. nice warm beeed :)

I had to change all of my recent entries because the dates were wrong and I couldnt post for a while. Gah.

Anyways I got my schedule for the fall at U of T. Im taking Materials of Music (which is mundane theory one), Introduction to Music and Society, Orchestra, Intrumental Performance, and Chamber Ensembles (as well as my Arts and Science course which maybe Geology or French Grammer, but that sounds like a lot of work :S).

Oh, and my private violin lessons with one of the members of the faculty *crosses fingers* Scott St. John!!!

I also got OSAP which is 12,000, but with my scholarship (3,700) and the fact that my mom paid this year I think I can swing saving 6,000 for next year because I dont really need 12, 000 to live. However there are textbooks so, we will see. I really dont want to end up 50 grand in the hole when Im done. And here you were complaining about 14, 000 Andrew :P

Im also going to try to get two concerts (one solo recital and the other orchestra) going but we will see.

I saw Ben the other day. Its nice to see him again. It seems that he is doing okay after the breakup and such. I do need his MSN though.

Whats with people dying? First its, well the Cobourg boy in Rice Lake (That hit a little too close to home for some of us, RIP Cool Guy) and now the Crocidile Hunter! Both freak accidents! Man, this entry is getting long.

Well I gotta go, see you all back in Toronto Tomorrow!!!

I would just like to say I had an awesome time at that party. Catching up (and in some cases saying Good Bye! Tears up Ais! :( ) with some good ol friends and meeting new people is really cool. I was pretty intoxicated (5 beers and a blunt with hash will do that) but it was a pretty nice feeling. Kinda like flying. Hehe....à

I really enjoyed the music. Some of you guys (Jen on drums and Conrad on guitar=fucking amazing) have real talent. Never give that up.

What Else? Writing on Ais leg was fun...what happened after the party was fun too ;) hehe...
I liked meeting Fanny as well, shes an awesome girl and a great host. Austin can you send me her email?

Today is the beginning of my hiatus in Cobourg, as Terry would say: ''Ontarios Feel Good Town!''.

So long everyone! WE will definetly need a reunion sometime,

Lets KEEP IN TOUCH!!! Emma

The club scene was fun tonight...Its 3:15 am Im ready for bed. Wish I had something more interesting to post but im a bit of an insominiac right now...

Going to Cobourg for about the rest of the time before school starts. A great way to save money and get out of the city for a few days. I hope to god I get OSAP.

Im going to try to uninstall the infamous Spyware Quake manually..I printed off the instructions off Google. Hopefully we wont need to take this damn thing to the shop. What a Pain In The Ass. Anyways this will be one of the last time I will mention this, considering I do acknowledge Im beating a dead horse. I do accept your apology Andrew.

Thats all for me now...

There was no virus on the computer, you panicked and downloaded a bunch of trojan horses on our computer. Spyware Quake is a trojan horse. Generally trojan horse has deceptive pop up windows that state you have a virus on your computer. Also, generally speaking, you should be using some antivirus program that is commonly known. I have never heard of spyware quake, therefore I looked it up on Google. Its prett simple thing to do. You dont know the name, look it up! Ask! Instead of consulting someone who actually KNOWS about computers, you thought you knew better and just downloaded some spyware shit thats not even real. The Norton Anti Virus is okay, (thank you for that) but we also got ad aware and discovered 16 new critically infected files, all belonging to at least five trojan horses that you downloaded. My dear, we dont have the stomach flu, we have almost full blown AIDS. These viruses arent just pop up windows, it has forbidden us to use flash, explorer and it also keeps reinstalling after we quartine it. Your lovely SpyWare Quake, that is.

We are probably going to take it to the shop now.
